My name is Harri Niskala and I returned back to Liana Technologies in March 2020. I used to work at Liana as an Account Manager and moved on to new challenges in the fall of 2016. However, I wanted to return to Liana because of the great team spirit and the unique atmosphere of the workplace. I was touched by how warmly I was welcomed back.

For a couple of years already, I had been dreaming of a creative job related to marketing and improving the organization’s visibility. I came across the job advertisement of the Marketing Development Representative on Facebook and considered applying long and thoroughly – for a whopping 10 minutes. I filmed and edited the application video and sent it during the same night. A couple of weeks after the job interview I got a phone call telling me I got the job.

I work as a part of marketing and customer success teams. My tasks include planning, implementing, marketing and developing Finnish webinars. In addition, I produce and host Liana’s Finnish podcast LianaCast. I also help with different kinds of video productions.

My workdays vary a lot and may contain lots of different tasks – but luckily I like my tasks a lot! One week can consist of booking podcast guests and planning interviews, creating newsletters and preparing different webinars, for example.

I enjoy working at Liana, especially because here employees are trusted. Here responsibility and freedom walk nicely hand in hand. The opportunity to develop your role in the company is also a big plus.
